Kim Victoria Cattrall (born August 21 1956) is an actress from Canada and the United Kingdom. best known for her role as Samantha Jones in the HBO show Sex and the City for which she received five Emmy Award nominations and four Golden Globe Award nominations winning the 2002 Golden Globe for Best Supporting Actress. Samantha Jones reprised her role in the film Sex and the City (2008) as well as Sex and the City 2 (2010). The films also include Porky's and the Porky's of 1980, as well her appearances on Police Academy Big Trouble Little China Mannequin. Kim Cattrall's character on the HBO TV sitcom Sex & the City is one of the most memorable. An acclaimed actress, Cattrall's performance as Samantha Jones has been a significant moment in her professional career. The sitcom helped make Cattrall a star not just among the local audience and internationally. Anita Ekberg...................Anita Ekberg was a Swedish actress who appeared in several European as well as American films. She's best known as the actress who played La Dolce Vita in the film comedy drama. The film won an Oscar, and the Golden Palm in Cannes Film Festival in 1960. The film was also commercially and critically successful. Prior to her first acting gig as a model, she worked as an Swedish model. The crown was awarded to her Miss Sweden. She moved to the US in the early 1990s, where she began to appear in a variety of films, as minor characters. She had her first role on screen in Abbott and Costello Go to Mars in the role of a Venusian. The film was later awarded the Golden Globe award in the Most Promising Newcomer category, after appearing in the film Blood Alley.
